ABOUT THE DESIGNER
I graduated from Washington State University in December of 2015 with a dual major in Digital Technology & Culture (DTC) and English, as well as a minor in Fine Art. I have been born in raised in the slice of heaven that is Washington state. I am currently working as a Barista at Starbucks and building a clientele as a freelance designer. I began my journey as a designer as a wide-eyed Freshman in college back in 2012. As soon as I heard about the DTC program at Wazzu during my orientation, I knew it was the path I needed to take.
I chose the “multimedia authoring” emphasis and studied a wide variety of the digital arts. I experienced my one and only attempt at creating a 3D animation (view here), and gained a few gray hairs and infinite respect for companies such as Pixar and DreamWorks in the process. I learned the Adobe Creative Suite from the ground up through various college courses paired with an unreasonable amount of hours spent viewing (but mostly pausing and rewinding) YouTube tutorials. Creating art via the Adobe CC is something I have grown to be very passionate about (InDesign & Illustrator, I’m looking at you!), because I love the unlimited possibilities it entails. Unlike Fine Art, digital design is in our everyday lives. From invitations, event posters, and advertisements, to book covers, billboards, and t-shirts – it is everywhere.
Let me help you tell your story.
My goal is to help others tell the stories they want to tell. Let’s be honest, sometimes words just don’t cut it, and we need a little something extra to help get our message out to our friends, family, or maybe even the general public. This is where I come in! If you need invitations, posters, album covers, business cards or anything else of the like, I can help you! I would love nothing more than to work with you to create something special for your event, business, etc. Please visit the information page for pricing, and more details. I hope to work with you soon!
